todd-thorton:

“sorry” he apologized quickly, then bit his lip, he wondered if don also saw the drunken posts Todd had made, even though every part of him had denied knowing that there was alcohol in long island iced tea, don would know Damn well it was Bullshit, it was Todds favorite after all . But he furrowed his brow and looked up at don in confusion when he had asked about how Todd was feeling, don never asked how Todd was feeling, or usually he would start to then joke it off dismissing the sentiment as if it had never happened, but it seemed like he meant it this time. “i don’t know professor hargrave, your like a brother to me I guess.” Don would have known Todd was an only child and was a pretty lonely guy because he was so shy, he looked up to don, and even though he wanted to make him a pseudo sibling, he respected him too much to call the professor by his first name outside of thought. “so its weird for your brother and your friend to sleep together, you know, I don’t know, its…..its not my place”

Don snorted, reaching back to elbow Todd in the ribs. He found it almost touching how the teacher’s assistant thought of him as a brother, especially since neither of them never had real siblings. He felt the same way, of course, but Don Hargrave admitting to caring about people or to having feelings? Nope. That never happened. “I’ve told you before, Todd, you can just call me Don.” He huffed a laugh, before swallowing another hot gulp of coffee. “I can see where you’re coming from,” he agreed, leaning back. Your friend and brother doing the horizontal tango was not a pretty sight, and Don could only imagine it to be a little weird and disturbing. “Is that why you’re upset though? I know I do it all the time, but most people don’t drink themselves into a stupor. Never had you pegged as the type who did, anyway..”
